The last month has seen God really begin to open the doors of The Way Home. There are now four residents at the home and they have been actively seeking employment and working on spiritual growth.
Our weekly Lifeline Bible Study continues to be a source of blessing for not only the residents but others from the community including the ministry team.
We have graciously been blessed by many with donations in the last few days and the men will begin to support themselves at The Way Home.
God is to be praised for what he is doing in the ministry. We praise God for the supporters that have given materials and money to support the ministry. We want to thank The House of Hope who gave us the food and snacks that was left after a recent event they held. I want to thanks as well the many who are coming to minister to the men in Bible study, mentoring, and just fellowship. There is a sweet sweet Spirit in the house and we all know that it is the presence of God.
Please continue to pray for The Way Home, the residents, and that we would see more of the work of God’s hand.
There are some current needs we are praying about.
- A used but fairly current computer for the men to work on resumes, online education, and Bible study.
- 3 more small chest of drawers (3 or 4 drawers).
- Larger sized crock pot.
- Donations for Bible study material.
- Volunteers to provide transportation around the Springfield area.
